Quantum Mechanix Presents Serenity Atlas of the Verse

I just bought the big ol' Serenity model, and threw in one of those Serenity keychains, too (it was only ten bucks more).

Looks great.

I love Firefly and Serenity, but for some reason I'm becoming thoroughly tired of "'Verse." Most Whedon slang doesn't get on my nerves as it seems to some people; I enjoy it. "'Verse" is a growing exception.

I heard over the weekend that the studios involved are increasingly interested in the merchandising revenue from this property - so much so that there's a low-key tug-of-war going on between Fox and Universal.

Do you mean the "Big Damn Replica" that Quantum Mechanix makes? The one that costs $2,500? If so, I am insanely jealous...

That's funny and sad at the same time, they wont make more episodes or movies, but are battling to milk it for all it's worth in merchandise...

Not terrifically impressed that the continents at the eastern side of the map of Hera don't match up with those in the west. Anyway, doesn't seem that bad if you've got $40 to burn.
