I'm a little surprise all of the Serenity fans on the board haven't jumped all over this already much like the Map of the 'Verse that came out a few years ago. I saw this listed for preorder at Big Bad Toy Store and my jaw nearly dropped. This looks amazing.

I love Firefly and Serenity, but for some reason I'm becoming thoroughly tired of "'Verse." Most Whedon slang doesn't get on my nerves as it seems to some people; I enjoy it. "'Verse" is a growing exception.

I heard over the weekend that the studios involved are increasingly interested in the merchandising revenue from this property - so much so that there's a low-key tug-of-war going on between Fox and Universal.

That's funny and sad at the same time, they wont make more episodes or movies, but are battling to milk it for all it's worth in merchandise...

Not terrifically impressed that the continents at the eastern side of the map of Hera don't match up with those in the west. Anyway, doesn't seem that bad if you've got $40 to burn.
