Sure, Marco got me into Trek, it'd be logical. Though I've already been pitching to Eric Raab there, so there's no rush...
Works for me, seeing non-tie in work from the authors here would be cool. And I'm very happy for Marco. I've gotten a lot of pleasure out of the books he's edited and I hope there's some way we can find out what he's working on at Tor.
It seems it takes a great deal to rouse me from my lurking here these days, but this definitely counts as one of the special occasions. My sincerest congratulations, Marco. No one deserves the opportunity more.
Are you familiar with the following? Dragon Precinct by Keith R. A. DeCandido The Calling by David Mack The Last World War and Counterstrike: The Last World War by Dayton Ward And that's just from the authors who post here, and I'm probably overlooking a few. And I've had about a half-dozen original novelettes published here and there, some of which can be accessed from here: http://home.fuse.net/ChristopherLBennett/Originalfiction.html
Yep, I've read most of the novels above and own all of them and I've read 4 of your stories. It would have been more accurate for me to say I was looking forward to seeing more non-media tie in work from the authors here.
Marco has said on his Facebook page that he would be happy to promote the books he work on on his blog and his Facebook.
