http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_in_film I found 2010 to be very underwhelming for movies. No real A Listers aside from HP7. Iron Man 2 I suppose was the best of the summer but it was a disappointment. But next year looks a lot better with the return of many A List franchises! 1. 5/20 Pirates 4: I love this franchise. Hopefully this one is more sheer fun. 2. 7/1 Transformers 3: I'm not ashamed, I loved the second one! Bring on the robots! 3. 5/6 Thor: the trailer for this looked really good even though I don't care for the character. 4. 7/15 Harry Potter 8: I know everything that will happen which is unfortunate but it should be absolutely amazing. 5. 7/22 Captain America: I have concerns about how good this will be... 6. 6/17 Green Lantern: I have serious concerns after seeing the trailer. I'm really worried. I love GL. 7. 6/3 X-Men First Class: total unknown 8. 3/25 Sucker Punch: trailed looked incredible! 9. 5/27 Kung Fu Panda 2: loved the first one. 10. 11/18 Happy Feet 2: loved the first one.
KUng Fu Panda 2, Puss In Boots, Sherlock Holmes 2, Deathly Hallows 2... Pirates 4 The Mechanic will probably be fun, but non-essential, and Fast Five will probably be a guilty pleasure. Anonymous looks interesting. Helluva lot of comic book adaptations there... Really I'm just going to be marking time until Star Trek 2 and Bond 23 in 2012...
Money Ball tops my list, but I am interested in Green Hornet, Green Lantern and the new Muppet movie. My kids are excited for Cars 2 and Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2. The trailer for Cars 2 looks pretty lame, but we'll see.

Thor, Captain America, Transformers 3, X-Men: First Class, Cars 2. also looking forward to: Kung-Fu Panda 2, Fast 5, M:I 4, Conan, Pirates 4.
This list feels unfortunately skewed towards big-budget Hollywood tripe, but we're not close enough yet to smaller, quality films to have trailers and enough details to grab my attention. Edward Burns is starting on another film in March, called "The Couple Across the Street," and I'm hoping that will be out later in the year. 28 Jan- Restless 4 Feb (UK)- Brighton Rock 4 March- The Adjustment Bureau; Apollo 18 (more "curious" at this point than "anticipated") 18 March- The Lincoln Lawyer; Paul 15 April- Source Code 27 May- The Tree of Life 3 June- X-Men: First Class 10 June- Super 8 17 June- Green Lantern 24 June- Cars 2 29 July- Cowboys & Aliens 5 Aug- The Darkest Hour 23 Sept- Moneyball 21 Oct- Contagion 9 Dec- Hugo Cabret 16 Dec- Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol 21 Dec- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 23 Dec- We Bought a Zoo 28 Dec- War Horse How one could call 2010 an "underwhelming" year with releases such as Nice Guy Johnny, Waiting for "Superman," City Island, Leaves of Grass, Winter's Bone, and The Kids Are All Right (to name a few) is... perplexing.
Apollo 18 The Adjustment Bureau Sucker Punch Source Code Water for Elephants Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides The Hangover: Part II X-Men: First Class Green Lantern Rise of the Apes Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Captain America: The First Avenger Cowboys & Aliens Moneyball The Thing Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo I've been disappointed with the movie selection in 2010, so I'm excited!
Green Lantern and possibly a mild interest in Rise of The Apes are probably the extent of it for me at this point. Very interested in GL after seeing the trailer.
Source Code The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (though with Gilliam's track record, this'll likely be delayed well beyond 2011) The Tree of Life War Horse Elysium (if this is still coming out in 2011....is it delayed until 2012?)
They were filming it, but all of a sudden stopped. It was supposed to be released This week. Rumor has it that China is upset with this film because it depicts them as evil, which they are of course.
The ones that come to mind for me... Source Code Super 8 Green Lantern Captain America Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol The Adventures of Tintin Everything else is more wait and see.
Things that are (supposedly) comming out in 2011 which I'll see: Cowboy Bebop Chronicles of Riddick 3 Ghost in the Shell Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Thor X-Men First Class
The Green Hornet Black Swan (January release here) True Grit (January release here) Source Code Thor The Tree of Life X-Men: First Class Super 8 Green Lantern Rise of the Apes Transformers: Dark of the Moon (kinder a guilty obsession to look for info) Captain America: The First Avenger Cowboys & Aliens The Darkest Hour Real Steel Sherlock Holmes 2 The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn War Horse
