Alien malware takes out the USS Yamato, and almost takes out Enterprise, a Romulan ship, and even Data.

Geordi's solution? Shut down, power back up in safe-mode, reformat the drives, then reload everything from floppies. Basically what I've had to do with every single PC that I've ever owned that ran MS Windows, from 1990 to the present day.

A good episode with some genuine tension. The alien portal reminded me of The Guardian of Forever, and also the library on Sarpeidon.

Saw this too. I think Capt. Sisko has his hands full. The Dominion is ready to strike! Enterprise episode was first part showing T'Pol getting married (ewwwwww! I did not like Kos, either!) I wish she could've just said "No. I love Cmdr. Tucker"! But then, poor Tucker would have to fight Kos to the death. He just can't seem to get a break can he?

 

Just saw a little bit of that ENT episode. It comes on opposite TMZ.
Tonight:
DS9 "The Ship"
As when I first saw it. When they immediately beam to the crash site, seconds after impact, there should should still be debris raining back down from the force of impact. But no, it looks like it happened hours or days ago.
Interesting to see a changeling turn to ashes.

My solution is that we bought Macbooks about five years ago. I use a Windows PC at work, and I have a 13 year old clunker at home running XP and no internet connection that I burn CDs with, but I'll never buy another Windows machine, life is too short.

 

Eh, whichever one has T'Pol out to arrest the rogue Vulcan and she has an attack of Feelings.

I'm sure it's been discussed to death somewhere. But what did Balock need with such a huge ship as the Fesarius? He's his own crew. And a tiny one at that. Is the Fesarius' sole purpose to scare the pants off of encroaching aliens in a first contact situation?

The idea of Quark in a Klingon duel to the death with bat'leths is too ridiculous to pass up.
And when Worf is asked the question if he'd ever pursued a Klingon woman and he answers"No". Did he just forget about Key'lar, the dead Mother of his son?
You'd think during the first script read through somebody would go "Excuse me. That's not right."
