TigerDevilDog I maybe wrong , but it seems to me that you are just threatened by Janeway - not use to seeing a woman that has the balls ( not literally) and can truly measure up against men. So by branding her unattractive you feel you are justified to say she isn't appealing.. Again i could be wrong Ryan to me - although she is beautiful. Although i find some of Mulgrew qualities unattractive ( some of which i have spoken about in Janeway Vs Mulgrew topic. I find she really does step up the plate when it comes to strong female roles. They fit perfectly . Ryan is so desperate to fill Mulgrews shoes which ( to me ) is just a joke!. She could not fill Mulgrew shoes even if she tried.
Janeway7truly, I have to disagree. Seven may have started out as "eye candy" but over the course of those four seasons she became much more. She endured a traumatic past, lost her parents and childhood to the Borg. She then struggled to find her humanity again. Slowly she started to re-discover herself, make friends, and become a valuable member of the crew. Give her some credit.
The subject is " How is Janeway sexy" Janewaysgirl . Seven's character was great as the borg but appealing ie; Jeri.. No.. Not to me.. Because the character had an horrific passed , she should be considered as sexy?. It is in the eyes of the beholder and i behold it and i do not find her appealing I have always said that Seven is a good edition of the show but i personally do not find Ryan attractive or someone i hold with great admiration. Both professionally and off screen.

Sexy and attractive are different things Janeway is reasonably attractive but there's very little sexiness if you ask me. The one moment I did find her slightly more sexy was when she reprogrammed "Michael Sullivan" and told the computer to make him "more provocative" That revealed a sexual side to her that I hadn't really seen before (even perhaps disclosed her desire for a relationship with a little fire and antagonism) which was kinda hot. In general though, she never struck me as sexy.
Are we arguing about the characters or the actors? I truly believe Chakotay the character possessed superior leadership skill to Janeway. Mulgrew is clearly the superior actor.
I find the idea of a strong independant and commanding woman who don't take nothing from nobody VERY sexy. It is possibly the best kind of woman out there. Plus that smile.......
