And apparently the producers have learned their lesson from S2 and promise not to keep the main characters apart quite so much.

 

I hate to be the one to point this out, but unless there was a mix up, havn't Sylar and Pete, um...switched their color codes?


I mean, they both have those particular powers, so it's not impossible from an in universe standpoint. Just from a...marketing standpoint, I guess, it seems...suspect.

 

Peter = blue, Sylar = red? It was that way in 5YG, right?

Or do you mean you expect there to be a switch in S3?

 

Interesting at comic con - they didn't say what role Ali Larter was, unlike the other characters.

Not sure if it's Adair Tishler, she still looks like a young girl.

I'm still thinking it's Dania Ramirez.

 

I'm going with Mopey McBlackeyes for the mystery brunette. The outfit is kind of off, but the hair and features look far more like her than anyone else.

 

Her skin doesn't look dark enough to be Dania Ramirez.

 

Anyone remember when they used to actually gather the gast in some location or set and take their picture for promo pics?

Ahh those were the days.

 

What the heck is Ando supposed to be doing?

It looks like there's a switch. Just checked on youtube. Peter definately has the flamey powers.

So Peter has the heat powers, Sylar has the cold. It foreshadowed Pete's fate as the bomb as well as, er, made a kind of poetic sense- -Peter mimics powers through emotions, passion, where Sylar is cold, logical, and crazy.

Granted, it's not a perfect analogy- -but considering that Sylar used the microwave powers to say 'boom', but Peter used them rather spectacularly once and then was able to control it to save the planet another time...I don't know, the 'twist' just seems odd. Ice/blue has always been a Sylar thing since before Quinto was on the show, and the explosive red/orange was Peter's color.

It's probably nothing, but hey- -maybe evil Peter? Just as long as we don't see 'good sylar'...Or, Pete's season 3 'blue' is the electro-bits, and the red means that Sylar's going to take his villainy a bit more serious. Why be a serial killer when you can just walk around and hold cities ransom?

 

I think it has to be Molly - any new female regular would have been announced or leaked by now. That, and I just plain don't want it to be Maya cos I want her killed as soon as possible.

I'm still holding out for the Candice revival as Temis described. That's a mighty nice picture though - good to see Ando there.

 

^yeah and she's next to Matt too. Molly's 2nd mutant powers must be rapid growth spurts!

Red = warm = good, blue = cold = evil. Peter and Sylar don't switch powers, they switch evil/goodness.

With his powers, why would he pick up a check, ever again?

 

I think I've changed my mind. It could be Ramirez, there are some similarities, some differences. This super blurry blow up and picture comparison certainly won't solve the mystery.

 

Nice. 20 posts about who the new blurry girl might be. I guess we are all waiting for the good spoilers to come in.

 

Maybe being "blurry" is her power.

 

One way to spark interest in a less-than-impressed fan base - publish an unclear promo shot for people to rampantly speculate about.
