I guess Jack got rid of the fake brick with a Hide-A-Key in case he locked himself in the cell after the incident with Warren in "This One Time at Space Camp…".

I would guess Beverly since the promo shows her helping Jack get connected to the simulation. She was not to happy with the Senator killing Holly last week.

Has Beverly mellowed out or something? She had no problem killing Susan Perkins back in S1.

Don't forget as of the beginning of Season 4, we are in an altered timeline where Kevin does not have Autism, Henry is married, Fargo is in charge of GD. So it is very concieveble that Bevery is more mellow. Her dad was also connected to the timeline change in the past, which could have had an effect on her also.

True, but now that makes her an unknown. In in the changes you cited, the show explored them to some degree to get the audience more familiar with them. In Beverly's case nothing new was revealed. We must assume Beverly is a cold-blooded Machiavellian b!tch based on her appearances in the past. If that's no longer valid, then what do we know about her? Why do we even expect her to be a villain at all? Maybe in this timeline she's being mind-controlled by Senator Wen.

"Just assume she's exactly the same until she does something different, then blame it on Superboy punching reality" is sloppy writing.

In this timeline, the uses of "your" and "you're" have been reversed.

And don't get me started on "there", "their" and "they're".

    That was pretty good.

They resolved the hologram Eureka issue pretty quickly.

And of course, Beverly gets away.

    Nice ending. Take that, bitch!

Very sad for Fargo; I got all teary-eyed at the end. But I don't see Beverly suddenly growing a conscience; that just doesn't fly.

Good Episode, I hope Fargo can get some revenge on Wen. I did not realize that Beverly took Wen with her from the garage when they were all unconscious. Looks like back to mishap of the week next episode.

I don't see Beverly growing a conscience as much as not wanting to waste 20 of the greatest minds in the world. Also... I think she was twerked that the Senator was screwing up her project, and she took exception to that interference.

I did sniff for poor Fargo.

    "I couldn't protect her."

So far the past 3 episodes have been great this season.

She also realized the Senator was going to throw her under the bus for the whole thing (as she tried to do in Henry's garage).

There may have been some conscience at the point the Senator started killing people, but it was mostly self-preservation after that.

It could also be that she didn't approve of killing the Astreaus crew because she didn't she them as a threat. She made it pretty clear she was planning on keeping them unconcious so they wouldn't remember, and then returning them home.
I really enjoyed the episode, and I'm very glad they didn't drag out the virtual Eureka story for the whole season.

Yeah, that was about the right length for that storyline. We've only got eleven episodes to go, I think. I imagine we'll get some final resolution on Beverly before the end, since she was there from the start. I wonder if the alternate timeline or Doctor Old Spice will be addressed, though.

    Poor Fargo. :(

    Yeah, that was a bummer.

I keep thinking she's not really dead, though. In Sci-Fi, they never are!
