Do you plan on animating the intermix chamber with that really cool worballing effect? They tried to recreate it for Voyager - a noble effort but didn't quite capture the same look.

Oh... I think we all do. ;)

It helps to have someone like you at the wheel, who has an eye for lighting and textures. Awesome work dude! :techman:

I have nothing to add Donny, other than this thread is absolutely bloody fantastic.

    Great work!

Y'know, Donny - you can stick these things into a 3D printer, scale them down and sell them at Shapeways to modelers who want to build cut-away interiors for the 1:350 Polar Lights kits! :D

Oh, and before I forget, here are the final beauty shots of the Torpedo Bay, since I got around to uploading them today. Just posted here for sake of completion.

Absolutely stunning work, Donny! And I like what you've done with Main Engineering already.

Amazing work Donny, truly stunning. Are the consoles at the front of the torpedo bay the gunners stations from the Amar?

Great to see the Engine Room back again!

Are you using 12' deck divisions all the way down or something smaller?

That's correct! Each deck is 12 feet.

I wonder what those torpedo consoles are for?

Lovely start on engineering. One of the coolest sets in Trek history. And it looks nothing like a brewery.

Well it's a torpedo room, so all I think of are the functions load, aim and fire.

I'm probably coming in late (so apologies if some of this was covered in earlier posts), but given the heavy struts and the position & shape of the torpedo tube hatch, it looks like a lot of it is a redress of the Amar bridge.

Yes, that was brought up earlier in the thread, but it never hurts to be reminded.

I had no idea the redressing of this particular set was so extensive before this.

Yeah, I'm aware of the set itself having once been the bridge of the Amar. I was specifically curious if the rarely seen consoles at the very front of the set are the two swiveling gunners stations from the Amar.

Another thing that I've always wondered is how exactly they fit the TSFS BoP bridge into the already existing set. They can't have torn it apart too much, since the set appears essentially intact when it is used in Macguyver.

    Looking FANTASTIC, Donny!

Something has always confused me about Main Engineering on the refit - apart from the warp core, where are the light sources for the room? I realize that in the real world, they're all supplied by arc lamps, but there's no obvious light fixtures in the room. Doesn't seem like adequate or safe working conditions for the most potentially hazardous room on the ship.
