Could "Inception" work as a TV series? (hypothetical)

Well I guess you could call this somewhat official from the Nolan camp.
In an interview with Inside Movies, Nolan revealed that he feels Inception could lend itself to more mediums than just movies and feels that a video game story continuation is a natural progression for the soon-to-be sci-fi franchise…

“I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place. At the moment, the only direction we’re channelling that is by developing a video game set in the world,”

Well not a TV series but it depends on what kind of game they are doing as some videogames like Heavy Rain and Alan Wake went episodic with actual storytelling.
With Nolan talking about it there may at least be a videogame series franchise which means cinematic cut-scenes in the Inception world which is the next best thing to a TV series.

Re: "S.A.N.D. Men" - rip-off TV series from NBC?

Now, just because it has a dumb title doesn't preclude it from quality writing etc. But it doesn't start the ball rolling in the right direction.

No the fact it would be on NBC precludes it from being watchable. :p

NBC tried this once before with Sleepwalkers, starring Bruce Greenwood, about a team of researchers who entered the dreams of their patients in order to diagnose their problems. Didn't last very long.
