Not familiar with her, but from photos, she looks like roughly the right type.

Not an Orange is the New Black viewer, then? She plays a character named Brook Soso.

For whatever reason, I always cast Nan Bacco as looking and sounding like Future Janeway Despite there really being no connection there.

Oh, Soso is good casting for T'ryssa.

I've always thought that mental image (because I've had it myself, and tried to get away from it since I've seen KRAD get frustrated about that particular imagery) came from the cover - there is something about the posing, stance, and the hair of the image on the cover of Articles of the Federation that gives off the 'Admiral Janeway' appearance to me.

After seeing The Force Awakens, though, I think Carrie Fisher might be a good fit for President Bacco. Especially considering all the interviews she's had plus her tweets.

    Going down
Thinking about it, he would make a wonderful David Gold.
  6. Mr. Laser Beam

    The visitor's bullpen
^ He was also in the WKRP "Turkeys Away" ep, I think.

The thing that made me think of Fairman was that he kinda looks like the Thelin who's on the cover of Myriad Universes. I wonder who that actually was.
  7. KRAD

Oh yeah, Fairman might actually make rather a good Gold......

I've only found one other suggestion for Julia Paris (though, I honestly haven't ready all 136 pages of posts), but I always picture her as Blythe Danner, and I thought I'd share that with you all...

^Every time I hear her name, I think "Hail to thee, Blythe Danner! Bird thou never wert."

How about Ragnhild Gudbrandsen for Pres. Bacco? She plays spymaster Wenche Arnesen on the excellent Norwegian series OCCUPIED.
