The "KRAD" in my post was a way of addressing the question to him, not a suggestion that he was the editor. Sorry 'bout the ambiguity.

So... according to flickr user peterjr1961, this is the Pocket convention giveaway:

He says the giveaway was about 8.5" by 11" with two pages of book text reproduced on each page. Is it safe to assume that this wasn't a bound book, the way some publisher samplers are, but rather stapled or something similar?

(If mods are concerned about hotlinking, peterjr1961 allowed me to make a copy of his scan for my own uses, and the image above is in my googlepages. Nobody's making any ownership claims on the cover itself, which is Pocket's work and CBS's property, but it never hurts to ask the person who did the work of scanning before swiping it.)

Since Keith already said it was perfect bound, it probably would not be very safe to assume that, no.

Oops. See, this is what happens when I skim a little too much because I've been away and offline for a few days, though not, alas, in New York.

So who edited Keith's story "Revelations" in No Limits?

The covers look great. Can't wait to see the other 2 books yet. Another thing, I'm glad that all of the old Trek comics are getting reprinted. I missed a few from marvel that I can't find anywhere and well there are a few from malibu too. But looks great for the next half of the year and 2009 as well.

I presume, scans of the text's themselves can't be pusblished online due to copyright-issues?

I can appreciate a nice ship cover but to me a story comes alive with the characters. Therefore I prefer a character cover or, yes, a mix of both.

I must admit, a tech cover can make me curious like a battle or another kind of dramatic scene, maybe with an excotic or otherwise interesting landscape or city in the background. I just don`t understand the appeal of just putting a plain ship on the cover that is not doing anything than floating around.

My top favourite cover IS a floating head in space, the Calhoun portrait of "Restoration". As much as I enjoy the new NF comics, I miss the good looking Calhoun.

I would imagine so. But the excerpts will probably be posted online over the next few months anyway, through the normal excerpt-posting channels.

Thank you. I'm even more excited about it. I never thought I'd say this, but: bring on the Voyager Relaunch!

I'm happy to report that there may -- as of today -- be a final title to V4. To answer the expected questions:

    1) No, I'm not permitted at this time to share it with you. (They call me "Tease.")
    2) No, it doesn't follow the "____ the ____" pattern, though Fuck the Klingons! was a working title for quite some time. (Still my favorite, actually).
    3. Yes, it appears it will take its cue from a Rush song title, though we did not originally set out to do that. Fecal matter occurs. (KRAD FTW.)
    4) No, it's not any of the ones yet put forth in this thread. (Sorry.)

I prefer poetic titles myself, but I'm interested to see what you guys have come up with

I forgot to ask, KRAD any chance the Enterprise might try to use slipstream, if the Borg do end up acheiving their goal?

^^Not sure why you're asking KRAD that, since the question apparently arises from the description for my Greater Than the Sum that's in the Pocket Books catalogue. Besides, I expect his response wouldn't be too different from mine, to wit: if there were a chance, do you really think we'd tell you? ;)
