Zoom Session to talk about "Picard"?

I was talking to someone about Zoom, and I have friends who've used Zoom, and it's a thing so I figured... we're all here. What if we did a Zoom Session where we talked about Picard?

I have no idea when or where, but if enough people here are interested, why don't we give it a shot?

Yeah, I'm in, schedule permitting. An afternoon/evening works best for me, Eastern Time.

 

I’m down. But I do suggest with all the time zones we try to aim for a weekend.

Despite the bad press about Zoombombing, it’s a great tool. We had a virtual birthday party for our one year old yesterday on Zoom. He obviously wasn’t super aware of the celebration but it worked really well. We could show some video and everyone got a chance to participate.

Also note that you can host a meeting with a free account but it’s limited to 40 minutes. For work, my wife has a paid account and she said we could use it.

Would 3:00 PM EDT work for everyone? I'm trying to think of something that works as well in California as it would in the UK. If not, we can try to come up with something else.

That should work for me...with some ample time for scheduling

 

3pm EDT should be fine for me provided it’s Saturday or Sunday.

When we do have a group together, we’ll take the scheduling to PM. For a lot of reasons, it’s probably a good idea to provide the link and all via email and I’d hate for anyone’s address to be out there publicly.
