Spelled "Zero" wrong
This story angers me, so very much.
As does this story.
But this is not the beginning. I remember reading about a valedictorian that had helped someone move and a butter knife was left in his/her truck and that kid was suspended and was kept from graduating because he or she "brought in a weapon."
I think zero tolerance is about the same as leaving out empathy from the equation. Might as well create machines or computers to both create and enforce policy, because all zero tolerance does is treat people like they are no human and don't make mistakes.
