Is anyone having this problem? I seem to be directed to mx.youtube.com and not www.youtube.com whenever I am trying to go to YouTube. Each link I click whether it is from Google or any direct saved links is redirecting me to the mx.youtube.com. The content is there but my account isn't. Can anyone verify this for me?

I did! All my definitions are updated but it still redirects there. I am wondering what's wrong.

mx is likely for mail exchanger, the mail exchange address for mail to youtube.com, not mexico.

No, it's for Mexico. If you actually go to it, it's fairly obvious. They have the flag in the corner and everything!

But anyway, Youtube's been working fine for me.

Have you run a virus scan or spyware check?

Sounds like something has messed up your web browser.

Does it happen in both Internet Explorer and Firefox?

It could be a scam to get your YouTube account details.

I had the same problem the other day but it sent me to the Canadian site. I just cleared my cache, exited my browser and opened it up again and went right to youtube.

Try checking your hosts file just in case. Google it and you should find out how to.

Try clinking on where it says Site along with the country's flag. Select Global, and voila. :)
