Was reading this post......

The thumbnails alone are hot, but after seeing her in "Sucker Punch" I'm practically drooling. I said it in the thread on the movie, but her in that mech eating a lollipop while blowing away bad guys was like someone reached into my brain and just said "Nerd fantasy...got it!" :techman:

in the GBOW thread and got to thinking... what's your favorite "nerd fantasy moment from movie and/or tv?

Mine personally has to be the first time I saw and heard Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Add a british accent to the Jolie hotness and throw in the hot outfits she wore in the movie and it was pure heaven..... couldn't imagien a better lara croft from one of my all time favorite video games....

Oh, are we talking sexual? I thought it was gonna be in general... in which case I was gonna say seeing Gandalf for the first time in LOTR. But never mind now

In general the first reveal shot of the Enterprise in Drydock in STTMP. Almost had tears in my eyes.

Sexual: Kaylee eating the strawberries in Firefly.

Non-Sexual: The battles between the Enterprise and Reliant in TWOK.

Non Sexual: So many to choose from so I am going to pick two. Seeing the USS Enterprise re-fit in TMP oooo shes a fucking beauty and the slow tour around her with the music is brilliant. Next one is the intro in the new ST movie when it fades to black with the powerful music and the Star Trek logo with the badge comes on screen, thats some powerful shit that I got goosebumps with a giant smile on my face thinking OH YEH TREK IS BACK ;).

Sexual: Far too many to choose from but at the moment I am going through Smallville and anytime Chole (Allison Mack) smiles is good enough to get my attention ...

Though I had a similar reaction as the character Jayne did in Firefly when Kaylee mentioned something about her and sex toys.

I never watched the show, but I happened to turn on Third Rock From the Sun when William Shatner gets picked up at the airport and tells everyone about seeing something on the wing of the airplane but no one believed him. Then John Lithgow said the same thing happened to him. :)

non-sexual: seeing Blackout transform at the start of Transformers. A FUCKING LIVVE-ACTION TRANSFORMERS MOVIE WHERE A DECEPTICON GOES APE AND FIGHTS THE US ARMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!!1

pretty much the whole of X-Men, Iron Man, Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk also filled my fantasies of live action comic book movies.

sexual: Rachel Nichols in the black bodysuit in GI Joe as Scarlett and Famke in black leather in X-Men as Jean Grey.

Non-sexual: I think my ultimate Nerd Fantasy (not sexual) moment was watching Picard sit down in the new seat of the Enterprise-E, and realizing that he'd have an all-new crew. Everybody else was moving on. I cried, it was just so heartbreaking to see characters that had been in the same place doing the same thing for decades finally move on. :wah:

Sexual: Mirror Universe Uhura is tied for the top spot with Rosamund Pike in that hot little exercise outfit towards the end of Die Another Day.

In terms of sexual, btw...

I grew up on Julie Newmar as Catwoman and, later, Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman.

Nerd fantasy is the norm to me.

Jetfire(My favorite Transformer) being a SR-71 Black Bird...my favorite plane. :) Unfortunately it was in a horrible movie. :(

- Megatron vs Optimus Prime in the animated Transformers: The Movie
- Neo taking out 3 Agents in quick succession at the start of Matrix Reloaded
- The Enterprise-E intervening in the Borg fight by putting itself between teh cube and the Defiant at the start of First Contact
- Jeremy Irons taking out the dragon at the start of Dungeons & Dragons (yeah, yeah, the movie sucks; so sue me)

In terms of sexual ones, though, I can't think of a particularly specific one that rises above any other, if you'll pardon that turn of phrase. I'll post later if I think of one scene in particular.

Non-sexual - Gotta be Scott Bakula in Chuck when Ellie sees her father (who went to get stuff to make pancakes and never came back) for the first time in years and the only thing she manages to say is 'Pancakes' and Steven says 'Oh Boy'. I'm a total QL fan girl so that just made my nerd brain implode!!!!

Sexual - That bit in Superman Returns when he drops Kitty off at the hospital and she tells him to call her Catherine. One of the things that I really like in man is a nice voice (hence my crush on Patrick Stewart :) ). Brandon Routh has a gorgeous voice and my name is Catherine. I actually made housemate rewind the dvd so I could hear him say it again
