Since I have decided never to go to Fry's again, I need to find an online store to buy my computer parts. There are no good stores in my area that are not trying to rip people off so I am looking for alternatives online. I know about newegg but are there any other suggestions. I want reasonable shipping cost, an easy return policy, and most importantly good prices. If I don't find a place I guess I will have to just buy systems going forward.
cnet.com does a ton of reviews, and they usually have a list of places to buy the products. You will see certain retailers pop up over and over. I usually go with newegg. Good luck!
I use these for some of my online purchases of PC parts. Newegg www.newegg.com TigerDirect www.tigerdirect.com Pricewatch www.pricewatch.com J.
I often use: www.geeks.com www.consumerdepot.com www.cyberguys.com You may also find these sites od use for hunting down bargains: www.salescircular.com www.bensbargains.net Salescircular aggregates many consumer electrionics sales flyer data into one one place for comparison Bensbargains does much the same, but for online deals. Happy bargain hunting! AG
Besides New Egg and Tiger Direct, I've done business with ZipZoomFly a couple times. They used to have pretty good shipping, I don't know about now.
TigerDirect had every single component I needed to build a system last year, and a good number of choices in each area. Software too. Other places might have lower prices on given items, but much fewer options.
