Your Next Grand Thread.

Everyone here has a gigantic and very important thread in them. but sometimes they just won't come. What grand threads are you working on? I've got two perking in my head. One is Worf's abilities and failing as a father. Two is the history leading up to the creation of the Prime Directive. Both require some research. Do you got anything good that just isn't quite ready?

I'm working on one of my Big Worldbuilding Threads, this time about Starfleet Academy.

I don't bother to do research, a bit silly IMO. I usually don't start threads. And when I do, it's usually when something like a question or issue comes to mind at the time.

I was going to start a thread surveying the board about the threads other users were planning on starting. Back to the drawing board.

Oh, and not to mention there's not really a way to know if the thread would be sucessful or not. I had threads (or seen) that seemed interesting but only managed to have a handful of posts while I was surprised with certain threads that kept going on for pages.

No, they don't. If I ever were to start a thread that went over one page, it would certainly be a sign of the Apocalypse.

Every once in a blue moon I'll start one, and just end up feeling humiliated. I'll just leave the thread starting up to other, more qualified people.
