I used to have massive crushes on both Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny. Totally wished Scully and Mulder were real people.
Gilly still does it for me though. *sigh* I love her so....

Gillian Anderson. I spent most of the nineties wishing she'd investigate the one-eyed monster hiding in my pants. Alas, no such luck. 
I was 14 when I saw 'While you Were Sleeping' (of all things). The movie was very boring to me, but Sandra's been my special crush ever since.
Now that I think about it, I can remember another one going back to when I was TEN.
That's right: Melissa Joan Hart in 1991.
Now, remember, I was 10. That picture might not look like much to you now, but she was 4 years older than me. (That's a LOT to a 10 year old!) She may look like a dorky pre-teen to you, but at the time I honestly saw her like this in my mind:

After that, the next big one was Kevin Dobson, of "Kojak" (later "Knots Landing") and weirdly, he became my semi-neighbor 20 years later.
There are just too many famous people in the Santa Barbara area.
