Your favourite technobabble phrase?

A scene is made of awesome when:

-the polarity (of whatever, it doesn't really matter) is reversed.

-a quantum flux regulator is involved.

:D
Non-Trek, but "Reverse The Polarity Of The Neutron Flow" is double-busted, as neutrons don't have polarity and don't flow. :borg:

From Trek, I liked much of the stuff that Geordi came out with. "Multi-mode phase discriminator" sounds cool enough.

"Geordi, why aren't we moving?"
"I don't know, sir. Anti-matter ratio at balance. Inter-coolant rate at optimum. Dilithium mix is at best spec. Sir, we should be going like a bat out of hell." :lol::lol:

I like this one, too. I love finding opportunities to use the "bat out of hell" phrase in my real life! Thank you, Mr. LaForge. :)

The following is an actual conversation that took place on TNG;

DATA: In order to complete the scheduled observations, the lateral sensors will require additional processing time.

GEORDI: We could steal a couple of hours while they're recalibrating the thermal interferometery scanner.

DATA: Will two hours be enough time to complete the high-resolution series on the neutron star?

GEORDI: No problem. We'll just double up the main sensor bandwidth while they're freeing up the lateral units.

I don't think i have any favorites. I LOVE THEM ALL! I know there are people who hate the technobabble, but i really love it. It just makes it seem "real" to me, even though its practically all mumbo jumbo made up anyway.

That's pretty awesome :guffaw:

But I think I need to run a Level 5 Diagnostic just to figure out what they're talking about!

My favourite technobabble is whenever they have to give their authentification to the computer, usually in the form of, character's name followed by a code sequence consisting of numbers and the Greek alphabet.
