I have always enjoyed the title of the episodes of the original series. Some of them are very poetic and literary sounding.

So I have created a poll to vote for the favorite title. Remember you're voting for the title not the episode itself.

oops, I see made a mistake. I wonder if a Mod could fix this? Separate For the World is Hollow and Dave of the Dove and make them two separate entries?

I loved the title of of The Menagerie. Just upon hearing it, you just knew you were in for something absolutely phenomenal... and the episode was pretty clever, too. ;)

It's not my favorite episode, but I do like the title a lot.

I always liked the title “The Naked Time.” Spare and simple, with a basic, universal metaphor. Of course, I would have liked to see Uhura or Yeoman Rand literally naked, but this was broadcast TV in 1966.

Mine is "For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky". It's very poetic.

Spectre of the Gun should be a choice!

As far as the choices listed, I'd go with City on the Edge of Forever.

I like the episode, but the name makes it sound much different than what you get.

Before I knew anything about the episode I was hoping to see some kind of cool exotic city. But all you end up getting is New York of the 30s.

The Savage Curtain would be my next favorite, from the list you've given.

Oh, that one's easy for me: "The City on the Edge of Forever".
The title has a mystical, adventurous quality to it. I love it.

"For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky" would be right behind it.

"The City on the Edge of Forever" (not a fan of the episode itself - to put it mildly - but a wonderfully evocative title) and "For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky". "Journey to Babel" isn't bad, either.

"For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky" and "Let that Be Your Last Battlefield" both sprang to mind when I read the thread title.

Agree and what about Tomorrow Is Yesterday and Dagger of the Mind? Great question, though.
