I wonder why TV always portray smart people and geeks this way. From personal experience both of my parents weren't like this, neither was my maternal grandmother. My dad's college tuition was all payed for by the American multinational company he used to work for until he finished and got a BS in electrical engineering (but he can basically do anything that has to do with computers and machines because he is damn good); plus the university he attended was a private university. When he was young he had so many girls following him around, that my grandparents told my mom not to marry him because they thought he was unfaithful. Both my mom and grandmother had extraordinary talents for reading and being able to compute math in their heads (I mean they could memorized speeches without even trying and remembering appointment dates and time without writing them down on a calendar and do do math that involve large numbers in their heads like they were androids), and they both were popular among men and my mom was in the women basketball team. I know a lot of people that came over to play cards, board games and role playing game at my house and they're not freaks like how the TV portrays them. Look at John Nash, one of the greatest mathematician in history and considered to be smarter than Albert Einstein, was very handsome and attractive and came from a well of family. I think it's insulting to all geeks. [chuckle]
