You either love it or steal it.

Re: You either love it or steel it.

No way! Evil people stole Marmite. I love the stuff - but it wasn't me.

Re: You either love it or steel it.

Ok I have just notice I put steel instead of steal :alienblush: and have tried to change it but no luck , am I right in thinking that because people have posted in the thread there is nothing I can do?:klingon:

Re: You either love it or steel it.

I prefer Vegemite to Marmite. I also think I heard somewhere that Australian Marmite is different from British Marmite.

Re: You either love it or steel it.

What does this stuff taste like, anyway? I've never had the pleasure.

It is a dense, savoury and slightly yeasty flavoured spread. I've had it all my life and like the stuff. I think a lot of first timers would try it and think we're mad for voluntarily eating the stuff.

Mmm... Nutella is delicious.

Re: You either love it or steel it.

I like Nutella too.

But my favourite spread is still Vegemite even though some people compare it to axle grease.

I have yet to try either Vegemite or Marmite. Then again, I may have tried one, I can't remember now. I want to, though.

Thread titles can only be changed by the mods. So check your spelling before starting a new thread.

That’s a pretty close description. I tried the stuff a few years ago, and from what I remember, it tastes more like axle grease mixed with road gravel and lawn clippings.

Still, chacun à son goût and all that.
