Here in the Hill Country (central Texas) we got some really good snow :techman:. Some really big flakes and a lot of snowmen. This has been awesome.

Dude, we got PELTED! I was over by the Arboretum this morning and it was almost a freaking white out for about 3 hours. Unfreakinbelievable!!!!

How odten does it snow like this where you live?

Only once in my life has it snow heavily enough at sea level here for me to make snowmen though a few times I have made them after going up our mountain.

In Austin I think they said the last time was Valentine's Day of 2004. It's hard to come to a decision about whether to call this "snow" or not. What we had in the middle of town today were huge (but beautiful) clumps of powdery snow, ice and some rain.

It was cool but I had to go over 3 overpasses on the way from my much needed stress busting massage today, and I slid on all three of them. I was supposed to have my finger prints taken for my real estate license and then later go all the way across town for an audition, but I canceled both of them (which totally sucked about the audition).

I didn't slide...Hmmm, interesting.

Yeah, we have had some weird weather the past few years.

Wow. Yeah, the last snow there was Feb. 14, 2004. :) I remember it very fondly.

But, snow is highly overrated. Trust me on this one. :vulcan:

Sorry about your cancellations, CD, but I'm glad you're safe. I suppose I need to check on my house.

I was really bummed about it since it pays SAG rate, but I was also very thankful that I got home safe. It's probably because my tire tread is so bad, but I really don't have the money to replace them right now.

As 005 says, I'm eating Ramen to support my dreams.
