XI radio song?

Seeing how JJ seems to be pulling out all the stops to get people to see this new TREK movie, I wonder if a "trek pop" song, ALA James Bond, will be part of the mix. Not as a theme song, just as a song to accompany the release....If so, what would the song be about..and who would sing it?

I think the song would show the various stages of Kirk's life, and it would probably be sung by Bruce Springstein, so as to pick up on that 'rebel' image of Kirk they want to push.

If it was a song about Sulu, it would probably be an elton John cover songs of Puff the Magic Dragon...

Oh, be nice.. it could also be something like "Federation Rhapsody"...

Oh that was just... hilarious!
I thought it was a bit heavy-handed, to be honest. How many "Sulu is gay" jokes can you make before they just stop being very funny? And Rob? Bruce Springsteen's ancestry is Dutch, not Jewish.

Since it's fairly obvious that the primary purpose of this thread was to deliver the "Puff" joke (such as it is) and since I strongly doubt that there will be any radio song associated with the 2009 Star Trek movie, why don't I just close this now?
