XI game?

You have to think JJ realizes that gaming is real big..and that Star Trek XI should have a game to go with it...if they do make a Star Trek XI game, who would you like to see make it? And would it be a shooter game? Or another Starship battle game (gee, we haven't had enough of those already)...

What would be your idea TREK XI game???

A Kirk Corvette-driving and motorcycle racing game, of course. If your prowess at handling centuries-outdated motor vehicle technology is impressive enough, you get to have multiple sex scenes with Orion babes, and unlock cutscenes of Uhura taking her shirt off, Sulu taking his shirt off, and a sexy scene of Vulcan being slowly penetrated by a giant time-traveling space drill. In the ending, it is explained that no outcomes are canonical due to quantum mechanics.

Works for me :techman:

That said, a Mass Effect or KOTOR style RPG would literally be as badass as Captain Robau.

I remember hearing there wouldn't be a video game tie-in for XI. :(

Probably has to do with how abysmally most Trek games sell. Never mind that they sell so poorly because they suck so much.

Not to mention the fact that movie tie-in games universally suck balls, star trek or otherwise.

Ah come on now, the Generations tie-in game featured an entire planet that was made of vagina. Good stuff :alienblush:

I tried to buy that game, only to find out the CD was covered in some kind of goo... and so I took it back to the store, and they got the other copy they had, and it had the same problem. :wtf:

I took it as a sign and they gave me my money back.

The Riddick game was great - better than the second movie, IMO. And the Star Wars KOTOR game was excellent.

But those are about the only exceptions I can think of.
Yeah, but that wasn't based on a specific movie. They had to make up an almost completely different universe, since it was set so far in the past.

I doubt there will be a game, but I do wish that they would at least release an official model of the ships to be used freely for game mods.
