Didn't see a thread about this, so . . .. They spent a fair amount of time in last night's season's premiere recapping what happened last season and establishing the new status quo, but I actually appreciated that since last season was a full year ago. "Where did we leave off again?" Thought this ep was fun, and, boy, does the show seem visibly relieved that they're not having to write around a pregnant lead actress season. Amusingly, last night's ep also included a commercial for the first ever WYNONNA EARP convention, which is apparently coming up in Minneapolis.
Great start to the new season, the vamps were pretty fun. Some interesting set up with Bulshar and his followers. I'm curious how the Nicole's reveal at the end will come into play, that seems like something that could potentially end up pretty important. I did notice a potential inconsistency though, in the finale Wynonna met her mother on the side of a road overlooking a cliff out in the middle of nowhere, but now she's in prison.
Yeah, I was puzzled by that, too, especially since they put the "middle of nowhere" scene in the "Previously on . . ." clip.
Is this show based in another timeline, or dimension, because I watched Tombstone and Wyatt Earp doesn't have any children ...!!
I just started season 1 a few days ago after unfairly dismissing it as a low-rent version of Buffy or Supernatural, but I'm having a blast with the show. I'm glad to see that the show is doing well and will be around for a while yet.
So Doc’s old flame is in town? I’m curious about Nicole’s backstory, and what the heck dragged Waverly away at the end?
Just watched the new ep. The cannibal guy was fun, as was the life-or-death game of charades. Not sure what to make of that twist at the end . .... No ad for the convention this week?
I don’t think Dolls is really dead-dead. He’ll probably get resurrected somehow. Unless of course he is REALLY dead-dead.
Yeah, this is definitely a show where someone dying doesn't always mean they'll stay dead. I didn't get why the cannibal guy was jumping around until Waverly made Wynnona do it. I was surprised that Dolls maybe died, I figured if it was going to be anybody it would be Nicole since she was the only one in attack who isn't a main credits cast member. Wynnona's conversations with her hallucination of her mother gave us some nice bits of backstory for their relationship. I didn't notice last week that Jeremy's new facial hair is the same as what Doc has.
When every episode ends with Nicole being alive, I feel relieved. Same goes for Doc. Since Jeremy can’t have Doc, he probably decided to emulate him instead, is my guess as to why he grew a beard.
Just started watching this last week on Netflix. Went in with fairly low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. Pretty much caught up now, including Season 3. Kind of Supernatural with a tough drunk chick packing a Colt. I’ll keep watching. Doc is a hoot... Q2
I thought that was why they cremated him. Cue the music. "He's not simply merely dead, he's really quite sincerely dead."
