Writing-pad, amazon kindle?

Hello. Im looking for something that is flat, light, and can be used for writing on while lying in bed, sitting in an odd position in a chair, standing on my head, sitting on a buss, and so on.

I have heard about these new reading-pads, that there is so much fuzz about, but Im much more interested in a pad to write on, something that has words or open-office, and can exchange text documents with another laptop or computer.

Does anyone here know of any such products? Have experience to share?

Presumably you want something like this. To run any kind of office software you must run a PC-grade operating system, so that limits your options (no iPad, no Kindle, etc.)

Sounds like you need something like a Digital Notepad:

They are a form of tablet but geared for note taking or sketches that can be imported into a computer to edit later on.

I use a Toshiba NB-205 Netbook.

$300, runs Windows and has a > 9 hour < battery life.

I have yet to find anything that wont run on it.
