Writers in need: Klingon translations

Another question to throw out to the collective; I have a couple of phrases here I need translating into Klingon for my upcoming novel. Anyone out there with a good grasp of the language, your help would be most appreciated...

First - "The thorn" or literally "The thorn in one's side"

Second - "Traitors cast no shadow"

Just wondering, are you sure you want to translate "the thorn in one's side" literally? Wouldn't the Klingons be more likely to have a different idiom with the same meaning?
