'Wristcutters: A Love story' What a pleasant surprise.

My roommate stepped out for a bit to hang with his buddy, so I pulled up netflix looking for something to watch, and came across this movie. The title intrigued me but the description was even more interesting:

A film set in a strange afterlife way station that has been reserved for people who have committed suicide.

Basically it's about a guy who kills himself because he was dumped by a girl and ends up (as the description states) in a kind of pergatory where people who kill themselves go. He just sort of wonders around until he hears his ex is actually there too.

I left it vague because one of the joys of this movie is not really knowing what to expect. It's a pretty simple movie, but it's premise is quirky and original enough that I was captivated throughout the whole thing.

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys romance stories and is looking for something that things outside of the box.

It is a VERY odd little film that has a lot of bizarre and wonderful moments. I would recommend it as well.
