Would you have any problem with NO Klingons OR Romulans anywhere in this film? I mean, the Klingons were in TOS what? 4 times (not including the image of Kahless) and the Romulans just twice that I can recall.

Then TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT and the movies just wanted to pack BOTH of them in as though you couldn't fire up thrusters without bumping into one or both of them.

I vote NO on both for this film...and frankly, they could avoid them for two or three films and not bother me one little bit!

Well, I hate to be the canon police, but if it takes place before Balance of Terror, there's no reason that we should be seeing Romulans. Klingons, I wouldn't mind, as they were Kirk's most potent enemy, but I could take 'em or leave 'em.

I've never liked Romulans to be honest. Balance of Terror aside, I dont see the point.
