As would a remake of "The Cage". An absolutely unnecessary, pointless exercise.

The DS9 Tribble episode worked. If they "remake" it, they have to do something interesting with it.
That was a gimmick episode to insert more modern actors into old episode footage, a la "Forrest Gump". Not a remake of "The Trouble With Tribbles". Yes, it was cleverly done and included some updated VFX shots. But by no means an episode remake.
It was an anniversary special and sold as such. Try selling it as a stand alone series ongoing in 2022.
I hated The Naked Now (which was a blatant remake of the classic TOS S1 episode The Naked Time) when TNG did it in 1987, and like many others in this thread, I see no reason to remake any Star Trek episode. I would rather just see a new episodes, with perhaps reference to previous actual TOS episodes as they have been doing with Strange New Worlds.
