Gods, what soap operatic mess. Only kept up with it for Joe Morton, Joshua Malina, and Darby Stanchfield. And only because I watched after the series ended, because I definitely would've bailed had I watched as it aired.

Aww. I loved LOST, despite the goofy -ass meandering.
One show I watched all the way through ---even though it became hate- watching by season 3-- was "Sliders.". I kept hoping it would redeem itself. It did not.
@Aragorn : I agree with "Falling Skies.". Great cast, great set-up but seasons 4 & 5 were, IMO, pretty terrible.

Could it be shows that started out great and then got progressively worse as time went on? Arrow and The Flash fit that description.

Damn it, I wanted to up the ante with "Melrose Place", but I dropped out for a good chunk of it, though I came back for the last few episodes (I had to know!!! 
).
"Models Inc." (featuring Robert Beltran!) got 29 episodes though! By today's standards that's three seasons worth of awful!

I wish I could say The Flash, but I only watched seven seasons before tapping out. I should've quit much earlier, it's a damn shame what happened to that series.
Sticking with DC Comics, I'll say the cartoon Young Justice. It had two fantastic seasons around 2010, but when it got uncancelled a few years later it really went downhill. But I kept on watching, all the way to the end.
It's tempting to say Enterprise...
Instead I'll pick two. Under the Dome and Revolution.
Under the Dome in particular was very bad. Great premise and it started well but there just wasn't enough story there to sustain almost 40 episodes and it just got progressively worse.
Revolution wasn't quite as bad, and it had much more room to manoeuvre plot wise, but it still felt substandard for what was, again, a decent premise.
In contrast other shows that felt of a similar ilk around the same time I liked a lot more: Falling Skies, Continuum and Defiance. In hindsight I kinda regret watching Under the Dome and Revolution to the bitter end, but I don't regret the others.

She first caught my attention in an HBO Vietnam anthology series.
The worst TV show I foolishly stuck with for all its eight years was L.A. LAW.
It began decently (though never near HILL STREET levels), peaked during its Hamlin-Rachins three-week war over the partnership, then limped like a Melanie Griffith film festival in the final three years. Not even John Spencer could save it.
The German TV station that aired it here made it a two-hour block on weekday afternoon, making it one of the most popular TV shows at the time. When Lou Ferrigno attended Stuttgart ComicCon some years ago, he was clearly irritated that all the fan attention for him about King of Queens. He even looked kind of reliefed when I brought a poster for the Hulk pilot's German theatrical release for him to sign.
Seriously, though, that show had only three things going for it. Jerry Stiller, Patton Oswalt and Leah Remini being hot. In that order.
