No, just kidding. I voted Dark Page, Force of Nature and Bloodlines.

By the way, I think the seventh season gets a bad rep on this board. It's much more consistent than some posters make it out to be.

Lots of candidates this season, unfortunately. I either love the episode or hate it in this season...not much middle ground.

I voted for Force of Nature, which was ill-conceived and badly handled, and Homeward and Firstborn, both of which I just find dull. Bloodlines was another close contender.

Eps like Sub Rosa, Genesis, Liaisons, Masks, Eye of the Beholder, etc., are all pretty bad too, but I at least find them entertaining and can rewatch them multiple times.

Force of Nature - just a bad idea all the way around. They obviously didn't really think this one out, and the effects were quickly (and correctly) discarded.

Sub Rosa - this was one of about three episodes I kept missing until I finished off the DVD sets last year. I remember reading on here about how bad it was. When I finally got to see it, I didn't think it was one of the worst episodes ever, but it's definitely bottom three from this season.

Masks - this episode just annoys me to no end. I don't like Spiner's weird voice at all.

This was a season too long for the show to carry on. It suffered from neglect and writer burn out. It was clear that attention was on Generations, DS9 season two and prepping VOY and the reduced role of Moore, Brannon and Piller was evident. There were quit a few botched episodes that actually had some interesting ideas that might have panned out with some polishing--Eye of the Beholder, Masks, Emergence, Force of Nature.

My votes:
Masks--an incoherent mess that was so bizarre and pointless I had to laugh. Joe Menosky seemed prone to these weird episodes and they rarely worked for me(The Thaw, The Fight, Emergence etc)

Homeward-just dull

Force of Nature-I might be one of the few who didn't mind the idea of warp destroying space but it was unfortunately written into an episode that was so labored and thin that it seemed the writers crammed so many different things into it to pad it out(the Ferengi, Spot's training, a rescue, a spatial anomaly).

I wanted to say that I might be the only person who finds Sub Rosa sorta decent.

I already had voted Liasions, Sub Rosa and Emergence before I realized that Masks (which I despise) was on the 7th season too.

Wow, the season is full o'stinkers and forgettables. And for no real good reason IMHO. Hard to pick just 3

Force of Nature: Warp damages space! OH NO'S!

Homeward: Great job making us hate the main cast.

Lower Decks: Hate me. Go ahead. But by the time a show gets around to focusing on the little people, especially previously unseen ones, it's all-but-creatively dead. See also Miami Vice episode with Laura San Giacomo in it (apparently a set-up for a spin-off), Babylon 5's A View From the Galley, and Voyager's The Good Shepard.

Bit of a weird season in that I consider it fairly weak, but there aren't a lot of clunkers. It's just a lot of bland mediocrity.

Toughest choice of any of these polls for any of the series yet--so many dogs in this season! With the finale on a fan collective, no way is this season ever being owned by me on dvd!!!

It was really, really hard, but I choose Force of Nature (the PC-est of TNG PC), Genesis (boring and wasn't Threshhold bad enough?), and Preemptive Strike (I can't believe they wrecked Ro!!!). But so many others qualified! I could have listed 6 or 7 easily.
