I'm not a "gamer" and in my limited exposure to videogames, I've never come across sex and.or sexism, of any kind. As an artist, though, I feel that Creative Freedom of Expression is of paramount importance. But the idea of simulating sexual encounters in a videogame seems very weak and, really, kind of desperate to me, to begin with. And certainly not something worth defending! There should be more concern with what female gamers views are, or what potential female gamers views would be. And after all, why wouldn't there be? Guys gaming online with girls can only add to the texture, or flavour of the experience. What's more, there would be the potential, at least, for some of this interaction to evolve into something more social and substantial, eventually. And this, to me, seems far preferrable than making CGI puppets show a lot of "skin" and/or pretend like they're having sex, which personally, I find risible.
