Do you think the fact that her beau is the costar helps Mr. and Mrs. Smith?

No.. the fact that they beat the crap out of each other halfway through the movie while tearing down the house is what helps the movie

I swear.. i have rarely seen such a funny fight scene with actors from both genders. It's just awesome (and then you get the mother of all unrealistic gun fights at the end.. just brilliant).

Jolie was a bit strange in the beginning.. the whole blood, SM and weird stuff in her Billy Thornton years was just a bit too much.

Nowadays i like her a lot.. she's a very hot actress but who can act too, kinda like Charlize Theron. On top of that she seems like a person who cares about important things and does something about it instead of just writing out checks at banquets and balls.

And she's adopted quite a few kids.. granted, for someone with her financial background not a problem to support them but it's still 6 kids. I grow tired after an afternoon with just one hyperactive kid.

I giggled. It's true.

Agreed and that last bit is true for Charlize Theron, too. I actually wasn't sure whether to nominate Angelina Jolie or Chalize Theron.

Both are really good choices. Although I think Theron is more...versatile than Jolie in the acting dept. And I think she's made a bigger career transition from 'token babe' to award-winning actor. I find Hancock a good companion piece to Mr & Mrs Smith in the 'beat the marital crap out of each' stakes.

He was married to someone else when they shot that film. It was during the shooting that they fell in love, so I think you could say the chemistry was explosive.

Haha, possibly. My Angelina Jolie timeline isn't that accurate, but that's pretty interesting.

:techman: The previews did look like a lot of fun.

I like Hancock, but once the truth of Theron's character is revealed it becomes quite a bit different.

Jolie obviously had her "wild" years but she's calmed down a lot. There's plenty to respect in her work both in front of and behind the camera. I wouldn't say I'm a big fan, but she's intelligent, versatile, talented, and cares about the world around her enough to do something about it. That's more than you can say of most people.

I have always been fan of Angelina Jolie:)
I think she is a talented actress, who can do both drama and action very well. I have seen quite many of her films..not sure what to pick as my favorite though.
She was quite good in HBOs Gia, one her first bigger dramatic roles( though people seem to remember her nudity mostly from that..)

While I agree that Jolie is a very beautiful and sexy woman,
she is also an interesting person, certainly complex, plus very human and emotional.
I do respect greatly her humanitarian efforts ( I should get her book about the topic also sometime..).
I agree with others, who pointed out that she has matured a lot over the years.

I went with "People are complex. It's all important."

She's managed to break out of the movie star mold in part by highly publicizing her humanitarian work; who hasn't heard of Brangelina. It's clear that she will be remembered for all three.

My favorite role of hers is Master Tigress.

I think she'll be remembered for the humanitarian work because she's sure done a lot of it. When it comes to her acting, Changeling won't be the film she's remembered for but it should be because she was fucking phenomenal in that movie.
