Love anything Tilly either way but I like the sound of all this. She's a gem of a character. The relationship with Stamets is a winner too. I could easily just watch a whole season of these two.

Tilly is one of the few main Starfleet characters in any post-TOS production that doesn't feel like a re-tread or template.

Sounds like Tilly is going to be an even better character in season 2. I like that they're building on her relationship with Stammets and Tilly's ambitions to be a captain.

No mention, mention, however, of where they're going with that little piece of the Mycellium network that landed on her shoulder. I'm sure all will be revealed in time.

I adore Tilly so I'm excited by these possible story-lines. I especially love the prospect of her bonding more with Stamets on both professional and personal levels.

Tilly + Stamets easily could have their own show.

Tilly is like the counterpoint to Burnham. You see the show through either of their eyes. Burnham still believes in starfleet (and really likes to tell people that) but experience and bad decisions have left her very hurt. Tilly is new and optimistic but she's been thrown into life aboard ship at probably the absolute worst time. We don't know as much about Tilly's past, though it's clear she has some mom-issues. Tilly is a good counterpoint to Stamets too, and I have liked their scenes together. She helps him remember that discovering things is cool. Maybe he'll design a mattress that doesn't make her snore, as a form of thanks.
