It's odd to realize this is only my third Galaxy class bash! Makes me wonder why I stockpiled about a dozen kits.

whichh reminds why i have a Defiant Kit unbuilt still cus i got it unopened cheap and im afraid to build it cus its kinda rare and i cant afford to re buy it from the internet =/

I'm not gonna keep updating the thread with pics, actually. I just wanted to share what I had when I finally got the shape together (I was a little excited ). Next update will be the finished model. A few more weeks at most.

Not bad. Galaxy kitbashes/variants were always a favorite of mine. This looks like it has the potential to be quite a tasty looking design.

It does calm you down but after too many "relaxing" drinks your scribing won't really improve..

Make sure you get the numbers in the right order.

Ya know, I HAVE done them in numerical order, on my Galaxy class refit (start at the bridge and spiral outward). But I'm not even gonna TRY this time.

So try another pattern - odds and evens, all the prime numbers together, lowest common denominator...

Pattern schmattern, as long as they're on straight. I keep smearing random ones off from handling before they dry and have to replace them, so that kinda wipes out any CHANCE at a pattern!

The real ("real") models don't have a pattern, and a lot of the hatches even have the SAME numbers!

I think I know why I don't do many Galaxy class kitbashes.

I'm painting the windows now. Lotsa windows.
