And how long have I been fiddling with this idea? I started the aft hull extension and the art for the decals "a few years ago." I just went to find the CorelDraw decal file, and the file is dated 8/13/2000

Yep, torpedo modules. Two tubes fore and one aft. The center pod is strictly a sensor/deflector module. The layout is pretty much just "Galaxy class Reliant" of course.

I also did some drawing along similar lines with the saucer rotated 90 degrees. Had you toyed with that idea too?

Good idea! Sounds like modifying the saucer would be more work than I like to do, though .

Black Death and Divine Right most certainly do sound like the kind of thing that the Mirror humans would name their ships. Black Death has that very threatening connotation that they most certainly like to use, and Divine Right befits their arrogant, self-serving nature.

I suppose you could make a variant in Corel Draw. Maybe she could be based off of the Frontier; a more advanced variation.

In any case, like the side view says, "Broadsword class." Ships would be named for various types of swords - Claymore, Katana, Falcata, Rapier, Scimitar, Tachi, etc...

I made the roll bar as a snap-on piece (well, snap on to the extent that it's on tabs and will fall off if you turn it upside-down), thinking maybe I'll make some alternate, modular roll bars. or not.

Kaiser took the words right out of my mouth. Been waiting for this for half my life! All the more torturous since I so love Galaxy-based kitbashes. But I am surprised to find this here and not over on Starship Modeler.
