I hope they start getting with it as far as x64 goes, since I have XP & Win7 going in 64 bit on desktop and laptop.
Good point. Though, theoretically, they will run slower, which can be a problem for very demanding applications.Not a huge issue, since a 64-bit OS should be able to run 32-bit programs just fine for quite a while yet.

This being Windows, I expect most programs will probably be disk-bound due to swapping anyway. (Even if you have plenty of RAM.)
Excuse the bump but does anyone know of any mirrors that are left to download the RC? MS still provides keys however they yanked the ISO hosting.
