Problem: Starfleet Command (1999), couldn't run the thing at all, would get to gameplay, last for 30 seconds and die..
Solution: run "configexe" in Starfleet Command folder
select "software mode" and max setting on resolution.
set the game executable to Compatibility mode of Windows XP Service Pack 3 and it works.. this works for the GoG version very well.. no instability on 2 PCs ..
