Will We See Guinan

Perhaps we could see Guinan in the show, perhaps a digital version superimposed on Whoopi to make it look more real.

Next year Whoopi is going to be in Sister act the musical . I heard about it on the tv news a few weeks ago.She said she was looking forward to doing something fun like a musical again.

I think it will depend solely on whether Whoopi Goldberg wants to do it (mainly to act with Sir Patrick again, IMO). Otherwise, it may be possible that she could be name-dropped or vaguely referred to in passing by Picard in an episode and that could be it.

Agreed. Couple that with the fact her homeworld and most of her species were said to have been assimilated/destroyed by the Borg, I would say it would definitely make sense for her to appear at some point. Particularly, given what we already know about the show.

If Hugh and Seven are in it, she is probably right behind them being that she wasn't assimilated like them, but her people were, so she has a direct connection with them.

Hell, she even told Picard that he should speak to Hugh if he was to be used as a weapon against the Borg. Something that Picard was dead set against and wouldn't have done otherwise had she not spoken with him.
