Will they make a series DVD set?

I just saw ads on TV for the Star Trek TNG DVD full series set, I've been holding off on getting DS9 DVDs since I'm waiting for a price drop, anyway the idea of getting DS9 all at once in a giant box set has piqued my interest. Do you think they will release a giant set for the show like they did with TNG? What extras would you like to see in it?

A price drop? The DS9 7-season package has been out for nearly a year and is priced at about $300.

How much cheaper do you expect it to get? If it's a price drop you're waiting for, you'd might as well buy now or you'll be waiting until DVD is as discarded as VHS is now.

That said, if DS9 ever gets put into the type of all-inclusive set that TNG now has been... I'm all over it.

I think we got shafted on our DS9 sets. They suck. And the cases do not hold up that well unless you baby them. I would have much preferred the R2 sets to the crud we got.

Oh well, at least Voyager fans got it worse... :rommie:
