Will the first cyborgs be monkeys?

As technology keeps improving and with the way humans and tech keep blending together more and more, the time when humans want to fully intergrate with the machine is proably going to happen someday. Only thing is they aren't going to go for it unless they feel it is safe and to do that it means scientist will proably end up having to experiment and we all know it will be the monkeys they will use. They were used by NASA in the early days of space exploration so they will proably be used again for this.

I'm sure they will start out slow by replacing artificial limbs and whatnot but it will be just a matter of time before they go full-blown Borg on a monkey.

When my LED comes on under my shirt I feel like Iron Man, so suck it all you non cyborgs!

And this is the best part, @Dimesdan , you may not even know -- we can interfere with certain signals, including PlayStations. Cyborg domination is coming, and it begins with making people's Fallout 4 characters get stuck in corners for kicks!

Seriously, I think it would be more reasonable for them to start with lifeforms that are neurologically less complex.

Maybe cyborg slugs or worms or something like that. Now there's a concept for a horror movie.
