He's back! Wil Wheaton just announced on his twitter page that he's returning to the show.

@wilw I'll be playing Evil Wil Wheaton again on Big Bang Theory in a couple of weeks.

Cool, I expected as much and am glad it's happening sooner rather than later.

Despite feeling that the show is having a problem with becoming generic in order to facilitate more audience, I'm looking forward to seeing Wil on again... I wish the show would learn how to utilize its guest stars better though.

Yea. I was really annoyed when they had Danica McKellar on and then she didn't even really have any lines. I would have thought given her background in math that it would have been a part of the role.

Exactly, I was blown away by how poorly done and pointless her role was on the show.
