Why? TV channel Chiller adds HORROR anime?? OH the HORROR!

('cept for Ninja Scroll & Blood: The last Vampire) I mean COME ON! couldn't they get better anime? I mean this stuff makes anime look bad! Ever see descendants of darkness? What the CRUK! were all the guys on that show GAY?!?! (no offence if your gay) And the story lines were awful! And don't get me started on Vampire Wars! (so there aliens? & Vampires??)

It doesn't surprise me. CHILLER has also been padding its schedule with stuff seen on sister network SyFy. I wish CHILLER would have more old-school horror, like the Hammer films of the 60's and 70's.

Hell yes, I agree, terrible selections of anime (again other than Blood and Ninja Scroll which weren't bad).

If they want good horror anime they should have gone for stuff like:

3X3 Eyes
Blue Gender
Blue Seed
Boogiepop Phantom
Claymore
Elfen Lied
Hell Girl
Hellsing Ultimate or Hellsing
Iria: Zeiram the Animation
Karas
Lilly CAT
Mnemosyne
Portrait of Petite Cossette
Red Garden
Silent Mobius TV or movies
Tsukihime
When They Cry

Those are the ones that are or will be commercially available here anyway, there a few more good unlicensed ones too. Of course, in my humble opinion, the phrase "good horror" does not really apply to animation since I don't find animated horror at all horrific or scary.

Anyhow, it's good that Ani-Monday on the Sci-Fi Chanel got renewed. Hopefully, they'll aquire some new shows in the future, instead of just playing old cruddy Manga Entertainment titles.

On a side note: Why does Manga Entertainment have such awful taste? I mean some of their titles are great (25-26 good ones, max.) but what the hell were they thinking with the majority of them? Bleh.

I think in order to reach a broader audience than just horror they should branch out and air classic science fiction shows like Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Farscape, Blake's 7, and the original Mobile Suit Gundam.
