Why Is Bill Gates Selling Shoes?

Well after seeing that advert I'm confused. I saw an interview with Bill Gates about six months back where he and his wife were leaving Microsoft and devoting their billions to worthy projects in the developing world. "The Bill and .... (Forgot her name) Gates Foundation".

Has the credit crunch hit so badly that Bill has had to be re-employed by the company he sold to do really bad commercials?

has anyone seen the one about "Window's Mojave"? I dont get that one, is it their way of trying to say "see, Vista's not as bad as you've heard"?

Yes. Of course, they way they say it it comes out as, "You'd like Vista if you weren't stupid and listened to stupid people!"

And it's totally invalid, since it was under controlled conditions for a limited time. Let 'em take "Mojave" home and try to install some printer drivers, and then see how wrong the reports about Vista had been.

and if you look in the commercial, the card bill flashes has his Albuqurque mug shot on it

This is exactly what I was going to say... it's pretty tough to have serious issues with a system after only 5-10 minutes of usage.
