Why hasn’t Enterprise had its own comic or graphic novel?

Browsing through Memory Beta, I found out that Enterprise is the only Trek series to not have a comic series of its own. It’s only been referenced in other comics.

The series has received novel series, and been features in video games, and referenced a bit in new Trek. It just seems a bit odd to me that even in the comic book world, ENT gets ignored.

Enterprise was on the air from September 2001 to May 2005. There were no Star Trek comics published between Wildstorm's license ending in October 2001 and TokyoPop's first ST Manga in September 2006. It was just bad timing.

Also this quote, although there have been some VGR comics since this was said:

"On Voyager comics Andrew Steven Harris has stated they are unlikely to happen any time soon if at all. Enterprise comics have a similar outlook, if not worse; Dan Taylor noted likeness approvals for Scott Bakula/Jonathan Archer are problematic. Enterprise, being the series with the smallest fanbase, would also make such a venture risky, ie. developing comics on a series that may be less commercially successful."

We did get an Enterprise story one of the issues of the first Waypoint. Ironically enough, the only characters in the story are Archer, Porthos, and an unnamed Suliban.

A few years ago Idw had a comic book story about the Star Trek doctors Phlox had a brief appearence in it.
