Why did the Replicators come to Earth?

Just rewatched "Nemesis" the other day and I got to wondering why the Replicators brought Thor's ship to Earth?

If the Replicators are all about more advanced technology Earth doesn't seem like it would be their first stop. Any Gou'ald planet would be a better idea or even a protected planet since the Asgard seem to leave behind advanced technology. Nor does Earth have some of the stronger and more powerful minerals for the Replicators to eat and use. It seems like an odd choice for them to attack first.

They didn't. Thor himself brought the ship to Earth specifically to seek SG-1's help in fighting the Replicators.

^ No he didn't. Thor states that the Bugs found out about Earth from his ship's computers and decided to take his ship there. Thor ordered the other Asgard off and only stayed in the hopes of preventing the ship from reaching Earth. He had no control in the ship's course and he only beamed up O'Neill as a last resort.

It wasn't explained, but perhaps the database mention that it was a past home of the Ancients?

It could be anything, I guess. Maybe they did believe there was Anceint tech to be had, maybe Thor wrote of Earth in his logs with obvious high esteem about them being the Fifth Race that it misled the Replicators into thinking Earth was more advanced than it was.
