Okay, sorry for the delay, work's been a trifle hectic of late. A fairly straightforward one here, any image from any episode of Doctor Who that takes place in the past, and for the purposes of this contest I'm defining the past as pre-1963, so any Doctor Who story that takes place predominantly in a time period before the show began, emphasis on the predominantly. City of Death features time hops into the past, but the bulk of the episode is set in 1979 so that won't count.

I hope that's clear :)

Usual rules apply. I'll try and get a poll up by the end of the week.

Nice idea, but I'm not sure if it flies with @Starkers ' "predominately in the past" rule, with it being from three different episodes which not all would qualify. The Shakespeare episode, sure, "Day of the Doctor", maybe. "The End of Time", though, not even a single scene.
I'm curious to see how Starkers will judge on that one.

It didn't occur to me that Day of the Doctor might not qualify. Oh well.
I'll replace it anyway, and keep it for another contest.

Day of the Doctor isn't predominantly set in the past so no that wouldn't have counted.
